Anthony VenetucciAnthony grew up in Connecticut. After studying design and business, Anthony joined the family real-estate development business, which included the purchase of an historic, 51-room shoreline Inn. Purchase of the Inn proved a defining period for Anthony. He managed the on-site event planning and daily operations. This effort included interior renovations of all the guest suites, common areas and event spaces. In 1999, Anthony challenged himself again with his first retail store in Essex, Conn. Anthony was inspired by artisans in Mexico to venture into manufacturing. He started an import business and quickly expanded into a full collection of garden décor, called Venetucci Imports. In 2009, Anthony decided to concentrate on his Westbrook, Conn., retail store. It was transformed into Venetucci Home, a 12,000-square-foot destination retail experience. In 2012, he added a second boutique location in Newport, Rhode Island, where he relocated. |
