Warranty

At Ancerre Designs, we pride ourselves on supplying products of a high industry standard and quality. We appreciate you choosing our products and we will do everything in our power to make you happy and resolve your product's issues.

1. The Product Warranty Period commences from the date of purchase. Ancerre Designs reserves the right to modify the Warranty from time to time; any such modifications shall be effective for all purchases made on and after the effective date of such modification.
2. The Warranty applies only to Products originally purchased from an authorized Ancerre Designs distributor/dealer and is otherwise void. Products that were sold as 2nd. hand, open boxes, blemished, store displays, or damaged items from the original order are also void.
3. Ancerre Designs is not responsible for any of the labor costs or other expenses associated with product removal, installation, or replacement parts.
4. The Warranty is void if the Product is operated outside its normal residential operating conditions. Products that are damaged during shipment must be reported within 4 days of delivery. The Warranty is void if the Product has been subject to accident, neglect, abuse, misuse, or Acts of God, and shall only be effective if the Product has been used, installed, and maintained by Ancerre Designs written instructions.
5. The Warranty shall not apply to any Product which is used, installed, operated, or maintained in violation of any applicable standard, code, or instructions for use, including without limitation, those contained in the Standards for Safety of Underwriters Laboratory, Inc (UL); the National Electric Code (NEC); Standards for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI); or, in Canada, the Canadian Standards Association (CSA).
6. The Warranty does not cover any 3rd party devices or products used in conjunction with the Product unless they are purchased from or provided by Ancerre Designs to be used specifically with the Product.
7. Free replacement parts for Products are warranted by Ancerre Designs for the remainder of the failed Product’s original Warranty Period. Ancerre Designs is not responsible for the labor and rectification costs related to the repair or replacement of the product.
8. The Warranty does not cover the inability to provide Proof of Purchase and/or Certificate of Electrical Safety (COES) when required by Ancerre Designs; Products that are not installed by a Licensed Electricians and/or tradesperson in accordance with local regulations; Products have been repaired or modified by an unauthorized repairer without Ancerre Designs’ written permission; Defects caused by improper handling, storage, installation, and maintenance according to Ancerre Designs’ instructions;
9. improper use or abuse, including excessive heat or moisture, excessive pressure, or uneven exposure to weather conditions; accident, fire, lighting, and other hazards whether natural or man-made; faulty electrical supply, including power outage or surges; thermal shock; and general wear and tear.
