• SEDIMENT FILTER* (Stage 1) : The sediment filter reduces particulate materials such as sand, rust, and fine particles from the water supply. The first stage also acts as a pre-filter, protecting and extending the life of the following filters.
• PRE-CARBON PLUS FILTER* (Stage 2) : This second stage filter significantly reduces harmful VOCs, chlorine, and soluble contaminants, which can damage the RO Membrane filter.
• RO MEMBRANE FILTER** (Stage 3) : The RO membrane filter works by pushing water through a semi-permeable membrane, thereby separating H2O molecules from contaminants in the tap water. The powerful RO membrane filter significantly reduces pollutants such as heavy metals, cysts, fluoride, arsenic, industrial chemicals, and more.

Brondell water filtration systems are all tested and certified by the Water Quality Association (WQA). Beware of non-certified manufacturer's filtration claims that have not been tested and approved by an authorized agency for water filtration products. The RC100 is tested and certified to NSF/ANSI 42, 53, and 58 for the reduction of aesthetic chlorine, taste, and odor, cyst, VOCs, fluoride, pentavalent arsenic, barium, radium 226/228, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, trivalent chromium, lead, copper, selenium, and TDS as verified and substantiated by test data. The RC100 conforms to NSF/ANSI 372 for low lead compliance.*

RO systems strip the water of most everything, including many beneficial minerals, using its specialized RO membrane that has a filter pore size of .0001 microns in diameter. RO systems can be necessary to remove certain contaminants in various parts of the country. They are also necessary for removing fluoride in your water, should that be a priority for you. Issues with typical RO systems include: they can waste up to 24 gallons of water for every 1 gallon of drinkable water, and they can be expensive and complex to install.

The Brondell Circle RO system reduces these problems, is up to 10 times more efficient than other systems, and wastes less than 2 gallons of water per 1 gallon of drinking water produced. The Circle also has an integrated tank and sophisticated non-electrical design.

Yes, both the Circle RO system and Capella RO system include a chrome faucet with an integrated LED filter change indicator that reminds you to change the filters after 6 months.

The faucet dispenses water at a rate of between 0.26 and 0.37 gallons per minute (gpm) when the incoming water pressure ranges from 40-100 psi for Circle; and 35-100 psi for Capella.

No tools are required for replacing ANY water filters.

Unfortunately, H2O+ water filters are made from composite materials and are not recyclable at this time. Please contact your local recycling centers to see if they can assist you with the disposal.

Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral found in many foods and water. Fluoride helps to promote dental health and has other beneficial qualities when present in small quantities, as found in most municipal water systems, usually in the form of sodium fluoride. However, we realize that some people still want to completely remove fluoride from their drinking water. The Brondell H2O+ Circle Reverse Osmosis system and Capella Reverse Osmosis system remove fluoride from water and are certified by the WQA (Water Quality Association) for Fluoride reduction. Our non-RO systems, such as the Cypress, Pearl, and Coral, leave the mineral in. It’s very rare to find quality filtration systems, other than reverse osmosis systems, that are capable of removing any substantial amount of fluoride from drinking water. Beware of uncertified claims from manufacturers claiming to remove fluoride with non-RO systems.

Yes, the Circle RO system and Capella RO system will significantly reduce or eliminate sodium and aqueous salts.

No, the Circle and Capella RO systems do not re-mineralize the filtered water. Needed minerals can be consumed through food by eating a healthy, balanced diet.

Only the Capella is certified by WQA testing for removing these chemical contaminants.

The TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) reading will not go to absolute zero. The Circle and Capella systems can lower the TDS readings of tap water by 90%. After water moves through the pre-filter, carbon block filter, and RO Membrane, the TDS reading will be significantly reduced. After this, the water moves through a final carbon block filter before exiting the faucet. At the last filter stage, the water can pick up a small amount of TDS particles from the carbon and is normal and proper functionality.
