UL, LLC is a global safety certification company headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois. It maintains offices in 46 countries. Established in 1894 as the Underwriters' Electrical Bureau (a bureau of the National Board of Fire Underwriters), it was known throughout the 20th century as Underwriters Laboratories and participated in the safety analysis of many of that century's new technologies.

UL is one of several companies approved to perform safety testing by the U.S. federal agency, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). OSHA maintains a list of approved testing laboratories, which are known as Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories.

Title 20

The California Energy Commission (CEC) first developed the Appliance Energy Efficiency Standards in 1977. They apply to appliances sold or are offered for sale in California. These standards include minimum levels of operating efficiency and other cost-effective measures to promote the use of energy- and water-efficiency appliances.

To be sold or offered for sale in California it is the responsibility of appliance manufacturers selling their products to test them at CEC-approved laboratories and receive third-party certification. Once certified, manufacturers are required to submit their documentation and data to the CEC to be uploaded into the agency’s online Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database System (MAEDbS). A regulated appliance that is not certified cannot be legally sold or offered for sale in the state of California.

Craftmade warrants all its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship, subject to certain conditions and exclusions, for a period of one year from the date the product was shipped to the original end-use purchaser. Craftmade will warrant its product only if it is sold through an authorized Craftmade dealer.

Craftmade will, at its discretion, repair, replace or make appropriate adjustments where inspection discloses any defects occurring in normal usage within the applicable time period above, subject to the following conditions and exclusions.

The following costs, expenses, and damages are not covered by the provisions of this limited warranty: (1) labor costs including, but not limited to, costs associated with the removal and re-installation of the product; (2) shipping and freight expenses required to return the product to Craftmade.

All warranties only apply to the original end-use purchaser and original installation of products. This warranty is not transferable.

The provisions of this warranty do not apply to products that are used in commercial applications; used for purposes for which they are not designed or intended; which have been subjected to alteration, accidental damage, abuse, misuse, negligence, or accident; which have been improperly stored, installed, maintained or operated; which have been used in violation of written instructions provided by Craftmade; which have been subjected to improper temperature, humidity or other environmental conditions; or which, based on examination by Craftmade, do not disclose to the satisfaction of Craftmade non-conformance to the warranty.

Additionally, this warranty does not cover scratches, abrasions, or deterioration due to the use of paints, solvents, chemicals, or abrasive cleaning techniques.

The above warranties also do not apply if:

• The original bill of sale, delivery date, or product number cannot be verified.
• The parts claimed to be defective are not returned for inspection if so requested by Craftmade.
• The product is not in the possession of the original end-use purchaser at the time the warranty claim is made.

Order Confirmation:

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as you place your order. After that, we double-check if all items ordered are in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your order is available for the delivery within the advertised time frame, we will submit it for shipment to the warehouse. Order Shipment:

You will receive an email confirmation with tracking number within 1 business day from the time the item has been shipped. If you would not receive tracking information within 10 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with our customer service team.

Estimated Time of Arrival:

We typically deliver within 2-10 business days. Custom made products are usually delivered within 4-12 weeks. If the expected delivery date for your order would fall outside of the advertised 2-10 business day time frame, our customer service team will reach out to you to confirm if you are OK with that date.

Areas Covered:

All estimated delivery dates and shipping costs advertised on the website apply the the contiguous United States only (the Lower 48 and D.C.). Please contact our customer service team to discuss the time and cost of shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or the U.S. territories. We don't ship internationally, but we can ship your order to a freight forwarder of your choice.

Damages:

It is critical that you inspect the packaging of all items when they arrive and check if you received all boxes listed on the delivery receipt. If you notice any damage or shortage of packages, you must make a note of it on the bill of lading, take pictures, and refuse delivery. Your note should say "refused due to damage". If there are no damages visible before opening the box, you must note "subject to further inspection may contain concealed damage". By signing a freight delivery without making any notes, you accept the product as it is and release the seller from any liability. If you notice any damage after receiving the delivery, do not throw the box away, and contact us with the photos of all sides of the packaged goods within 2 business days. We cannot process your claim if you fail to send images within 2 business days. After we receive information from you about the refused delivery or concealed damage, we immediately initiate a claim with the shipping company or with the manufacturer. After the claim is fully processed, we ship all replacements at absolutely no cost to you.

Cancellations & Returns:

We can cancel your order at absolutely no cost to you before the shipping label or Bill of Lading has been created, or before production of a custom order has started. Custom made items are not eligible for cancellations or returns after production has started. You can return all non-custom made items within 30 days of delivery, except when noted otherwise on their product page. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. It must also remain in the original packaging, and the packaging must be in perfect resellable condition. The cost of shipping the product both ways (to the customer, and back to the warehouse) and a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. Orders delivered outside the United States are not eligible for refunds. If your order arrived damaged, "Damages" section applies. Please contact us before returning your order to discuss shipping details. All refunds will be issued to the credit card you used for your purchase within 2 days after all returned items arrived at the warehouse. If a credit card refund is not possible, we will issue a direct deposit.
