This 30-inch length Eleganto teak shower bench provides a contemporary design flair to coordinate with your bathroom decor. These benches include independent foot leveling pads to provide extra flexibility and stability to allow stabilization due to any minor slope in shower floors. Each of the leveling feet can be independently adjusted in height to allow for adjustment to most any shower floor slope. The rubber surface also provides slip resistance and raises the teak legs off the floor so they do not remain in constant contact with the water, or soak up the water.  

Teak is naturally water, mold, and mildew resistant due to its natural density and high oil content. It has been the wood of choice for hundreds of years of luxury boat builders. The Dutch originally established the plantations that this teak wood is grown on to support their own shipping industry hundreds of years ago on the island of Java where our teak furniture is manufactured. The natural resistance of the teak wood has been supplemented by using our own unique DecoTeak stain which is a deep penetrating stain with added mold, mildew, and fungus inhibitors. This stain is designed to soak deep into the pores of the wood, rather than a topical coating such as teak oil which only sits on the top of the wood. This provides excellent durability and the life of the stain. It provides the ability for this teak furniture to be used outdoors as well as indoors.

This teak bench is also versatile due to its indoor-outdoor stain and can be used outdoors on the deck, patio, or by the pool. It also makes a great hallway bench for storing shoes and other household items. The teak wood used in this bench has been known to last up to 75 years. Teak Care

Maintaining & Cleaning Teak Furniture

Regular cleaning of your teak wilt help prevent mildew build-up and potential discoloration. A quick wash with mild dish soap and water usually does the trick. Make sure to use a soft plastic brush as metal brushes can scratch and damage the wood's surface. Some harder-to-clean stains can be removed with Loveable Teak Cleaner (Recommended for DecoTeak and EcoDecors products - sold separately)

To begin, clear a space to clean your furniture.

Apply your cleaning mixture to the teak item using a soft plastic brush and scrub into the wood as you apply. Allow the mixture to sit for about 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. When cleaning is complete, allow the bench to dry. After the bench is completely dry, apply some Loveable Teak Oil (Recommended for DecoTeak and EcoDecors products - sold separately) 

Please be sure to follow the instructions and wipe any excess oil from the bench.

Teak bathroom and shower products are guaranteed against defects in materials, workmanship, and construction only. Excluded are normal wear and tear, including finish wear, surface cracks that are not structural, and the existence of mold. Mold is one of the most common elements in a moist environment, and the benches themselves do not grow mold. Please use the recommended care and cleaning instructions to prolong the life of your finish and product. Soaps and shampoos will degrade the finish of the products if left on them. Maximum warranty is limited to one replacement item of the same or similar if a product has been discontinued.
