Subject to the warranty service provision below, any product reported to the authorized dealer or to Laviva Inc. as being defective within the warranty period will be repaired, or replaced with a product of equal value at the discretion of Laviva Inc. Laviva Inc. offers the following limited warranty on each of its vanity products (the “Product”) and the components thereof. This warranty extends only to the original owner or end-user for personal household use. This warranty is void if the product has been moved from its initial place of installation. For commercial uses, additional limitations apply.

Laviva Inc. warrants the product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the initial date of purchase by the owner or end-user, contractor, or builder, from Laviva Inc or an authorized Laviva Inc. dealer unless otherwise noted. Subject to the warranty service provision below, any product reported to the authorized dealer or to Laviva Inc. as being defective within the warranty period will be repaired, or replaced with a product of equal value at the discretion of Laviva Inc. This warranty extends to the original owner or end-user and is not transferable to a subsequent owner.

Neither the distributor authorized Laviva Inc. dealer, nor any other person has been authorized to make any affirmation, representation, or warranty other than those contained in this warranty. Any affirmation, representation, or warranty other than those contained in this warranty shall not be enforceable against Laviva Inc. or any other person.

This warranty shall not apply to instances of incorrect operating procedures, breakages, or damages caused by fault through improper installation, carelessness, abuse, misuse, misapplication, improper maintenance, or alteration of the product, as well as chemical or natural corrosion, accident, fire, flood, an act of God, or any other casualty. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wools, and harsh chemicals as these will scratch, damage, and/or dull the product and/or finish and void this warranty. The owner/end-user of the product covered by the present warranty is entirely responsible for its proper installation and any applicable plumbing. Laviva Inc. neither installs nor supervises the installation nor hires a contractor for this purpose; consequently, Laviva Inc. cannot be held responsible for any default, breakage, or damages caused thereby or resulting thereof, either directly or indirectly. The owner/end-user must provide access to the components of the Product as described in the installation guide so that Laviva Inc can execute the warranty specified herein. If such access is not available, all expenses to provide said access will be the responsibility of the owner/end-user. This warranty does not apply to local building code compliance. The owner/end-user should check with the local-related plumbing codes before installation.

This warranty does not apply to products that have not been installed or operated in accordance with instructions supplied by Laviva Inc. and all applicable rules, regulations, and legislation pertaining to such installations.

This warranty does not apply unless the Laviva Inc. Product is installed by fully insured licensed professionals. Laviva Inc. strongly recommends that such licensed professionals have experience in the installation of bathroom products. Installation of certain products, including, without limitation, glass products (i.e., glass countertops and glass sinks) by an inexperienced person may result in glass breakage and, consequently, cause personal injury or death.

Laviva Inc. is not liable for personal injuries or deaths to any persons or for any direct, special, incidental, or consequential damage, loss of time, loss of profits, inconvenience, incidental expenses, labor or material charges, or any other costs resulting from the use of the product or equipment or pertaining to the application of the present warranty, or resulting from the removal or replacement of any product or element or part covered by this warranty. Except as otherwise provided above, Laviva Inc. makes no warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose or compliance. In any case, Laviva Inc. cannot be held liable for any amount over and above the purchase price paid for the Product by the owner/end-user, contractor, or builder.

Laviva Inc. reserves the right to modify this warranty at any time, it being understood that such modifications will not alter the warranty conditions applicable at the time of sale of the products in question.

Laviva Natural Material Disclaimer

Laviva Inc. products have been manufactured under the highest standards of quality and workmanship. Each product goes through a rigorous and multipoint quality control process to ensure excellence.

Laviva Inc. products are made of naturally variable raw materials. Differences in grain character and color among wood and plant species and stones and minerals are naturally occurring variations and are not within the control of the manufacturer nor considered defects under this warranty. Natural color changes, variations, or movements in lumber or veneer products, and exposure to extreme temperature changes and direct sunlight, may cause color changes and/or surface damage and are not covered by this warranty. All wood naturally ages, darkens, changes in color, and mellows over time due primarily to exposure to light. While this color change is imperceptible from day to day, it may be significant over a longer period of time, or due to the amount of light, the wood is exposed to. On warranty replacement doors or drawers, we will not guarantee an exact color match. Imperfections such as checks (small surface splits), pitch pockets (small dark holes) or darker mineral streaks are natural and are not considered defects.

The surface characteristics of natural stones may vary from each slab. Color variations in stone are a natural occurrence. Natural veining, crystal lining and local crystallization are common characteristics of natural stones. For this reason, new and/or replacement pieces may not match display samples and/or existing pieces. Natural occurring stone characteristics such as variation in grain, color and mineral streaks are not considered defective products. In addition, all Laviva Inc. vanities are handcrafted. Each product may vary slightly in size and color within acceptable industry tolerance. Natural stones, ceramic, porcelain, quartz and related products represent products of nature.

Laviva cannot be held responsible for any cause of action resulting from its use in any form. Laviva Inc. makes no expressed or implied warranty, for any particular use. These products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in aesthetics, color, shade, finish, tint, hardness, strength resistance, density, etc. Natural stone may be characterized by dry seams, pits, and fossils. In polished and honed stones, these pits are often filled during the manufacturing process or at the time of installation. These fills can occasionally deteriorate from normal wear and use. In these instances, it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure.

Do you need to seal the marble top?

All our countertops are pre-sealed. However, we recommend the vanity tops be re-sealed every 1-2 years to help protect the natural stone

Where are the products made?

LAVIVA products are manufactured in Vietnam, China, and Italy. Everything goes through rigorous Quality Control inspections. Inspected and approved products receive a green sticker of certification.

What if I want my countertop to have additional faucet hole?

You can make a special request to have the additional holes drilled for your countertop. You must specify exactly how many extra holes, the total spread (in inches), and any extra notes. Please note that any modification made to the countertop voids all returns. Additionally, all special order request may extend your delivery date an extra 2-3 weeks.

Exact colors of the marble tops may look different in their picture.

Since LAVIVA uses only high-quality authentic marble, variants in the color between pictures and in person are a possibility. Feel free to visit one of our partnering, displaying retailers to view for a better view. Nevertheless, part of the characteristics of natural marble is random veining and unique shades of the same color.

How much assembly is required?

Minimal assembly is required and we do advise use of a licensed contractor and plumber otherwise warranty is voided.

Are side splashes available?

We do offer side splashes for several collections. Call or email us to find out if we have the side splash to match your counter.

Why do some of the vanity models have plumbing cut-outs in the top/middle drawer?

Some vanity models have plumbing cut outs in the middle and top drawers to provide adequate space for installers to install the vanity and have enough room for the required plumbing.

How do we remove the drawers from the cabinet?

There should be a few screws located on both sides, underneath the drawer. Unscrew the screws and the drawer can be removed.

What is the size of the faucet hole?

It is 1 3/8 inches in diameter.

What is dovetail joint mean?

Dovetail refers to a type of joint in which two pieces of wood interlock. Joints that are dovetailed are extremely strong and secure. This is one of the best construction techniques for drawers.

Do your cabinets come with the countertop?

Our products are sold a-la-carte or together as a set. You have the ability to order the cabinet on its own, and also the countertop on its own. We also have premade sets which include the countertop.

Are the sinks included with the countertop?

Yes, they are! Our sinks are included with the countertop and also premounted. Unlike most manufacturers, we mount the sinks to the tops to make sure that they are waterproof and secure. This also saves you time and effort on the installation process.

Are the backsplashes included?

Backsplashes are included on all our stone/marble countertops. Solid Surface countertops and Ceramic tops do not have a backsplash included or available.

Yes, all our hardware is soft closing. You will never hear a door slam!

Why is my backsplash not the length of my countertop?

Whenever your countertop has an OGEE edge detail, the matching backsplash is designed to be placed centered between the edge detail to edge detail.

Order Confirmation:

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as you place your order. After that, we double-check if all items ordered are in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your order is available for the delivery within the advertised time frame, we will submit it for shipment to the warehouse. If the expected delivery time exceeds the advertised time frame, we'll reach out to you via email and/or phone to confirm the order.

Order Shipment:

You will receive an email confirmation with tracking number within 1 business day from the time the item has been shipped. If you would not receive tracking information within 10 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with our customer service team.

Estimated Time of Arrival:

We typically deliver within 2-10 business days. Custom made products are usually delivered within 4-12 weeks. If the expected delivery date for your order would fall outside of the advertised 2-10 business day time frame, our customer service team will reach out to you to confirm if you are OK with that date.

Areas Covered:

All estimated delivery dates and shipping costs advertised on the website apply the the contiguous United States only (the Lower 48 and D.C.). Please contact our customer service team to discuss the time and cost of shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or the U.S. territories. We don't ship internationally, but we can ship your order to a freight forwarder of your choice.

Damages:

It is critical that you inspect the packaging of all items when they arrive and check if you received all boxes listed on the delivery receipt. If you notice any damage or shortage of packages, you must make a note of it on the bill of lading, take pictures, and refuse delivery. Your note should say "refused due to damage". If there are no damages visible before opening the box, you must note "subject to further inspection may contain concealed damage". By signing a freight delivery without making any notes, you accept the product as it is and release the seller from any liability. If you notice any damage after receiving the delivery, do not throw the box away, and contact us with the photos of all sides of the packaged goods within 2 business days. We cannot process your claim if you fail to send images within 2 business days. After we receive information from you about the refused delivery or concealed damage, we immediately initiate a claim with the shipping company or with the manufacturer. After the claim is fully processed, we ship all replacements at absolutely no cost to you.

Cancellations & Returns:

We can cancel your order at absolutely no cost to you before the shipping label or Bill of Lading has been created, or before production of a custom order has started. Custom made items are not eligible for cancellations or returns after production has started. You can return all non-custom made items within 30 days of delivery, except when noted otherwise on their product page. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. It must also remain in the original packaging, and the packaging must be in perfect resellable condition. The cost of shipping the product both ways (to the customer, and back to the warehouse) and a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. Orders delivered outside the United States are not eligible for refunds. If your order arrived damaged, "Damages" section applies. Please contact us before returning your order to discuss shipping details. All refunds will be issued to the credit card you used for your purchase within 2 days after all returned items arrived at the warehouse. If a credit card refund is not possible, we will issue a direct deposit.
