Elegant with a very sophisticated rustic undertone, this mirror is beautifully designed. It incorporates raw iron textures across the frame. The artisans put every hammer blow to the iron on full display, incorporating the random textures into the overall look of each piece.
There are many finish options available for this wall mirror with a wrought iron frame. Any of the hand rubbed finishes will be layered to accentuate the natural textures in these pieces. Perhaps the most stunning treatment of the iron is to allow the steel to simply be itself with a natural iron special finish seen on the mirror pictured here. Select Natural Iron as a finish if that is the look you prefer.
This rustic metal mirror is easy to hang vertically or horizontally and is available in two sizes.
California Proposition 65 Warning Label
In 1986, the State of California created the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act (Proposition 65) due to growing concerns of drinking water contamination by toxic chemicals. Since its inception, Proposition 65 has grown to include nearly 900 chemicals/compounds. Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about exposure to chemicals that could cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. These warnings can be found on products and in most commercial places throughout the state of California. The following examples are products or places that can expose you to the listed chemicals: grocery stores, jewelry, coffee, amusement parks, dental offices, lamps, parking garages, hospitals, automobiles, beauty products, restaurants, and furniture. Most wood furniture contains very small particles of wood dust, which is a listed item. The hazardous exposure limits are generally only found in the workplace when furniture is being manufactured or in warehouse facilities. Formaldehyde is commonly found in some coatings. Most wood furniture contains some amount of formaldehyde. All our products meet or exceed CARB standards regarding formaldehyde (CARB standards are currently the strictest in the US). When our products are manufactured and packaged, we do not know where each item will ship. Because of this, our only option is to place this warning on all our products regardless of where the product is delivered. Stone County Ironworks is dedicated to providing consumers with quality furniture that meets or exceeds all US Federal and State regulations regarding consumer safety. For further information regarding California Proposition 65 and to look up places or products that have this warning please visit the following website: https://www.p65warnings.ca.gov/ |

Stone County Ironworks is appropriately named after the county in Arkansas where our company was birthed almost 4 decades ago. As the business grew, we chose to remain, live and work in this small hardscrabble community where doing things the hard way comes naturally. Over the years, that pioneering independence has shaped the Stone County brand. We rely on old world tools and techniques to produce character and texture in our work. Those methods fit the throwback life we have built here. By any measure, doing what we do is hard. If it were easy, perhaps others would do it too.
Here you will find a simple and safe place where neighbors and employees are like family. It's a magical spot where people still wave, and stop to let others cross the street. Over time, folks here learned to socialize and entertain in wholesome ways that didn't cost much money. That’s why music and craft is still such an important part of a creative community that produces the artisans who make our company possible. We have over 1,000 items in our portfolio with millions of possible combinations. Much of our business is custom. We work in 100,000 square feet full of artisan blacksmiths, woodcarvers, coppersmiths and finish artists who can make anything. There is no place like it on earth.
The unique way we shape our steel requires a blend artistry and brawn. Strength and finesse, combining somehow to produce the wonderful art pieces you will find in homes and resorts everywhere.
It's a privilege to make functional art in a way that has otherwise faded into history. And, it’s a proud trade...that we love. Like pioneers who worked so hard to discover and then scratch out a life on their little plot of ground...ours is here. We are grateful that you stopped by. If we can serve you in some way, then our lives will be all the better for it. If you should call, or stop by our showroom in Mountain View, then we hope you will look back and feel like family.
Some Details about Stone County Ironworks Products
Stone County Ironworks offers a variety of finishes for their iron furniture and accessories, some premium finishes require multiple hand applied cotes, all finishes are baked on and extremely beautiful. Most of their items from Stone County Ironworks are shown with the standard "Natural Black" finish, unless otherwise specified, exceptions would include the Pine and Whisper Creek collection which feature standard woodland finishes. The natural black is not a pure black; it's more of a dark charcoal that replicates the very early finishes applied by blacksmiths, who finished most of their iron work by actually rubbing soot from the coal burring forge onto the metal surface to give it an immediate dark "charcoal" color. If you really want to appreciate the natural beauty of the hammered iron, the standard Natural Black finish is your best bet. But Stone County offers some wonderful "Premium Finishes" to accommodate any color scheme as well. Premium finishes have an up charge which is listed on every product finish option tab you should also keep in mind that we cannot accept returns on Stone County Premium Finishes, which are consider to be a custom item. |
