No more painful gait belts, or flimsy commode chairs that feel like they will collapse if you move the wrong way. The Throne Buttler Powered Commode Lift Chair is a revolution in bedside toileting safety. It combines the safety, security, and smooth lift-and-tilt action of a Throne Buttler with the portability of a commode chair, allowing it to be used bedside or anywhere else without the need for a toilet.
The commode portion features an easy to clean fitted tray that securely locates between the feet of the Throne Buttler with a high side to contain any messes should they happen. The extra-deep waste bucket locks into the fitted tray and remains stationary so that there is no chance of accidental spills during use. Easy-to-replace liners are included so that clean-up after each use is simple, fast, and sanitary.

A Caretaker's Best Friend
A Compassionate Solution All-Around
One Time Purchase
We understand the daily struggles of a caretaker go far beyond a typical 8-hour day. Regardless of the task, you’re on call 24/7 to give a hand and protect your loved one. Unfortunately, stress is not the only issue that you have to deal with, heavy lifting in awkward positions and financial burdens can further complicate your life. So let us Lighten your load. Consider the Throne Buttler as your full-time helper ready to assist day and night with no advanced warning needed, so that your loved one can reclaim their throne.
Annual Fees?
As your mom always said, A stitch in time saves nine, so let the Throne Buttler handle the heavy lifting in the bathroom. There is no benefit to your loved one if you hurt yourself in the process of helping them transfer on and off the toilet. Often the inability to use the bathroom safely can be the deciding factor in moving into an assisted living facility. On average the cost of an assisted living community range between $4,000 to $8,300 per month which is not typically covered by Medicare. Beyond giving peace of mind, the Throne Buttler can save you both time and money.

Reduce Injuries
The Throne Buttler’s patented lifting mechanism follows the natural kinematic motion of the body making it the ideal support for patients recovering from back injuries, knee and hip replacements, as well as other physical ailments. |
The Nitty Gritty
Toilet Seats Throne Buttler is designed to work with most elongated toilet seats, from electric bidets to padded seats – even basic wooden models. We don’t care for lidless horseshoe toilet seats, we think your bum deserves better. |
Built-In Gutter And Drain Our built-in gutter and central drain act like a roadway to channel life’s little messes where they belong: in the toilet. As Throne Buttler lifts, gravity does the rest, pulling liquids into the three-sided gutter and the drain. |
Height and Seating Thanks to a bowl clearance height of 17.25″, Throne Buttler works flawlessly with both standard and taller height toilet seats. Just slide it over, plug it in, and put your bum at ease. |
Splash Guard Our signature splash guard extends the depth of the toilet (opening an additional 2.50″) and fits below the rim of both standard and chair-height toilets for mess-free operation. |
Safety Cage The safety cage offers multiple points of contact to ensure a steady transition on and off the toilet. It features two sets of cushion hand grips so you can have the best leverage, the perfect position, and maintain balance. |
Magnetic Latch One of the many innovations that make Throne Buttler the safest toilet seat lift on the market is our magnetic latch, which holds the toilet lid securely open so you can focus your attention on using the toilet safely. |
Safety Cage Expansion Should you require a better fit, Throne Buttler has an optional safety cage that can provide an overall width as small as 24.50″ or as large as 28.00″. Just be sure to check for clearance (approximately the size of a toilet paper roll) on either side of the toilet. |
Standalone Commode Can’t make it to the bathroom? Throne Buttler’s standalone commode feature allows you to answer nature’s call safely and in a more convenient location, so you can avoid the dangers of traveling to the loo. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I return it if it does not fit in my bathroom?Yes, contact us for instructions. |
Are the feet adjustable?Yes, they can be easily adjusted to level the throne buttler to any floor. |
What kind of cleaners or disinfectants can I use on it?It is recommended to clean the plastic and metal surfaces with a mild household cleaner, or disinfectant wipe. It is not recommended to spray the cushion grips with household cleaners as they can absorb liquids, use a disinfectant wipe or disinfectant spray. |
How noisy is it?The Throne Buttler runs around 65 dB which is equivalent to a dishwasher or electric shaver. |
What is the recommended minimum height to use it?For optimal fit, we recommend 5’4” and up. Contact us for special requirements. |
Does it come in any colors besides white, and grey? Please contact us for special color requests or patterns. |
How long is the power cord? The power cord is 10 feet long and can be routed out on either side. |
How much power does it use, will it trip my circuit breaker?Under load, the Throne Buttler uses about 65 Watts, or the equivalent of a standard light bulb, or a cell phone charger. If the circuit is overloaded, then there is a possibility of tripping the breaker.> |
Will the green and red lights on the power control ever turn off?No, they are intended to be on continuously as an easy visual reminder of where they are located and which is up and which is down. If the lights do turn out, please contact us for a replacement control handle. |
My only outlet is pretty far away from the toilet, can I plug it into an extension cord?Yes, it can be run on an extension cord, but before you use an extension cord you need to visually verify or have an electrician verify that the outlet you are going to use has a working Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt (GFCI). The Throne Buttler has a GFCI built into the power cord, but it does not provide protection between the extension cord and the outlet. |
I don’t have much room around my toilet, how can I tell if it fits? The simplest way to check is with a full roll of toilet paper, if you can pass the roll between the widest part of your toilet bowl and the cabinet or wall pretty easily then it should fit. |
