Valiryo's history dates back to 2005 when the two telecommunications engineers Ion Esandi and Patxi Fabio joined forces to apply their professional knowledge for the benefit of others.

They developed technology systems for the automotive industry that helped intellectually disadvantaged people perform their work with a 100% quality guarantee. Sometime later, in 2009, the company was founded with the intention of providing its services to other groups of people and industries. From then on, the company acted as a consulting firm for companies whose products stood for the paradigm of universal usability and accessibility.

In 2015, after several years of independence, they founded another company - Lifeak S.L. - and thereby fulfilled a long-standing dream: design, development, manufacture, and finally the market launch of their first own product, which not only made the lives of many people easier and more comfortable but was also intended to be entirely under the sign of sustainability and innovation. With the Valiryo Body Dryer – a fully automatized body drying device that finds application both in the wellness and nursing field – they did not only create a technical innovation. They also built the foundation for an ecological and future-oriented everyday life when it comes to hygiene and body care. Under the leadership of Mr. Esandi, the young and ambitious start-up subsequently managed to successfully master numerous challenges - such as financing, further development, production, and last but not least, worldwide patenting of the product. With a limited budget, but all the greater willpower and unbridled enthusiasm, various certifications and classifications were obtained in order to move step by step closer to the vision of global accessibility of the product.

In form of the Valiryo GmbH, Valiryo founded its first joint venture in Germany in early 2019. Based in South Hess, the company is primarily responsible for representing and developing our brand in the German-speaking countries, the Nordics as well as the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

After already establishing several international distribution partnerships in the past, Valiryo plans to build up additional local subsidiaries in different countries in the near future – thereby making the vision of global adoption come true, step by step.

Epidermolysis bullosa, also known as “Butterfly Skin”, is a rare genetic disease whose main characteristic is extreme skin fragility. By using  Valiryo, the damaging friction between the towel and the skin is avoided. It thereby protects the skin and contributes to the welfare of the people affected.

Order Confirmation:

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as you place your order. After that, we double-check if all items ordered are in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your order is available for the delivery within the advertised time frame, we will submit it for shipment to the warehouse. If the expected delivery time exceeds the advertised time frame, we'll reach out to you via email and/or phone to confirm the order.

Order Shipment:

You will receive an email confirmation with tracking number within 1 business day from the time the item has been shipped. If you would not receive tracking information within 10 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with our customer service team.

Estimated Time of Arrival:

We typically deliver within 2-10 business days. Custom made products are usually delivered within 4-12 weeks. If the expected delivery date for your order would fall outside of the advertised 2-10 business day time frame, our customer service team will reach out to you to confirm if you are OK with that date.

Areas Covered:

All estimated delivery dates and shipping costs advertised on the website apply the the contiguous United States only (the Lower 48 and D.C.). Please contact our customer service team to discuss the time and cost of shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or the U.S. territories. We don't ship internationally, but we can ship your order to a freight forwarder of your choice.

Damages:

It is critical that you inspect the packaging of all items when they arrive and check if you received all boxes listed on the delivery receipt. If you notice any damage or shortage of packages, you must make a note of it on the bill of lading, take pictures, and refuse delivery. Your note should say "refused due to damage". If there are no damages visible before opening the box, you must note "subject to further inspection may contain concealed damage". By signing a freight delivery without making any notes, you accept the product as it is and release the seller from any liability. If you notice any damage after receiving the delivery, do not throw the box away, and contact us with the photos of all sides of the packaged goods within 2 business days. We cannot process your claim if you fail to send images within 2 business days. After we receive information from you about the refused delivery or concealed damage, we immediately initiate a claim with the shipping company or with the manufacturer. After the claim is fully processed, we ship all replacements at absolutely no cost to you.

Cancellations & Returns:

We can cancel your order at absolutely no cost to you before the shipping label or Bill of Lading has been created, or before production of a custom order has started. Custom made items are not eligible for cancellations or returns after production has started. You can return all non-custom made items within 30 days of delivery, except when noted otherwise on their product page. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. It must also remain in the original packaging, and the packaging must be in perfect resellable condition. The cost of shipping the product both ways (to the customer, and back to the warehouse) and a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. Orders delivered outside the United States are not eligible for refunds. If your order arrived damaged, "Damages" section applies. Please contact us before returning your order to discuss shipping details. All refunds will be issued to the credit card you used for your purchase within 2 days after all returned items arrived at the warehouse. If a credit card refund is not possible, we will issue a direct deposit.
