ClearlyYou™ Mirror Defoggers come ready to install in several shapes and sizes to fit most mirror types. Pre-attached power leads conveniently connect to your bathroom's 120VAC lighting fixture. Anti-fog bathroom mirrors draw only a minimal amount of energy, which makes them very cost effective. They also maintain a constant, regulated temperature of 104 degrees, keeping the glass steam free.
Installation should be done by a licensed professional to ensure that all wiring is in accordance with the National Electric Code. With that being said, installation is relatively simple. First, the professional will mark on the wall the location where the lead wires leave the mirror defogger. Next, they will install an electrical junction box in line with the mirror defogger’s lead wires. Then, they’ll run Romex cable from a nearby junction box to the new box. The closest box is typically the one that supplies power to the lighting fixture above the bathroom vanity. By linking these junction boxes, the mirror defogger will turn on automatically when the bathroom lights are turned on. Finally, they will adhere the mirror defogger to the back of the mirror and connect the lead wires to the Romex cable.
Mirror defogging systems are not suitable for installation in the shower.

Any suspected defect must be reported by registered letter immediately upon discovery. The determination of the existence of such a defect will be made by WarmlyYours.com Inc., or its authorized representative only. Upon notification of an actual or possible problem, WarmlyYours will issue an Authorization to Proceed under the terms of the Limited Warranty. This warranty is null and void if the Product is improperly used, operated or installed, or if the owner or his representative attempts to repair the Product without receiving authorization. Under this Limited Warranty, WarmlyYours will provide the following remedy: If the product is determined to be defective in materials and workmanship, and has not been damaged as a result of misuse, misapplication or improper installation, WarmlyYours.com Inc. will refund the original purchase price or replace the Product.

What is the best way to keep bathroom mirrors from fogging up?Installing a heating system behind your mirror is the most reliable way to avoid a foggy mirror. Typically, mirrors fog up because they are much cooler than the steam in a bathroom after a shower or bath. The cool surface of the mirror causes the moisture in the steam to condensate in the form of fog. A heated mirror will prevent this condensation by being as warm, or warmer, than the steam. |

The location where the wires leave must be entirely within the area of the new electrical junction box. |
